A good location from east to west

Jiangmen, a gateway to the West River, pearl of the South Sea, and central city on the west bank of the Pearl River Delta, is adjoining Zhongshan and Zhuhai on the east,Yangjiang on the west, and Foshan, Yunfu on the north, as well as the South China Sea on the south. At 2020, it had a total land area of 9506.92 square kilometers and a resident population of 4,798,100.

Jiangmen is located in between the east and west of the Guangdong- HongkongMacao Greater Bay Area. It is only about 100km away from the two economic zones of Guangzhou- Foshan and Shenzhen- Zhuhai, forming the“ GoldenTriangle ”of the Guangdong- Hongkong- Macao Greater Bay Area. Jiangmen becomes the hub gateway for the Greater Bay Area to connect the west of Guangdong and southwest of China.In January 2019, when Li Xi, Secretary of the provincial Party committee, made an investigation in Jiangmen, he clearly proposed to build Jiangmen into a "new growth pole on the West Bank of the Pearl River and a river gateway to the sea on the coastal economic belt".Therefore, Jiangmen City has taken the initiative to build a comprehensive transportation hub in Zhuxi. Jiangmen station, which has been built and used, will form a joint force with Guangzhou south, Shenzhen North and other hub stations to promote the

formation of the coordinated development pattern of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
